Why did I choose Naturopathic Medicine? Well, the truth is that it found me. I’ve always marveled at the human body’s abilities and resilience and knew that I wanted to work with people, helping them learn how to get healthier. I am now 4 years into the workforce and have treated so many women over the years with different conditions: chronic fatigue (low energy), anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), irregular periods, adrenal fatigue, weight loss, hair loss, and so many digestive issues. My fascination for the human body has only increased day by day. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I have the privilege of working one on one with patients, understanding their lifestyles and discussing holistic and integrative therapies that work for their needs and day to day demands. The first step of the process involves diving deeper, running all the functional medical tests that are necessary and the lab tests to make sure we haven’t missed any o=underlying conditions. Secondly, overhauling diet (sometimes this one can be tougher on patients), but my go to rule is replacing things from diet rather than completely taking it out. With much accountability and consistency, patients see huge changes from changing their diets. I then may choose to add any necessary supplements, IV therapy (intravenous therapy), BHRT (bioidentical hormone replacement therapy), PRP (platelet rich plasma therapy) or medications (if necessary).

My favorite part of my job is seeing the end results; patients that are healthier, happier and leading more productive lives!
